Forage Summer Market
A summer gathering of around 50 independent makers, creatives and food lovers at Rigg & Furrow over the August Bank Holiday weekend. £2 entry (under-16s, carers and dogs free).
About This Event
The Forage Summer Market returns to the End Hemmel Barn at Rigg & Furrow for two days of thoughtful shopping over the August Bank Holiday weekend, on Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 August, 12pm to 5pm. Across the two days, around 50 independent makers come together to showcase the exceptional talent and creativity found across the North East — a carefully curated selection of artists, designers and makers all under one roof. Founded by creative duo Ellie Davison-Archer and Steven Eyles, the Forage Market has quickly become one of the region's most popular independent markets. Beyond the stalls, you can stay on the farm and enjoy the Rigg & Furrow taproom serving artisan-brewed drinks, alongside a line-up of local street food. Entry is £2, with under-16s, carers and dogs admitted free. The ticket price includes free parking, raffle entry and a donation to charity. Buy tickets in advance at foragelifestyle.com or pay on the door on arrival.
