Traditional real ale pub in the heart of Morpeth, regularly awarded Pub of the Year by CAMRA Northumberland.

About Tap and Spile

The Tap & Spile is a traditional real ale pub on Manchester Street in the heart of Morpeth's ancient market town, close to the bus station. A long-standing favourite among real ale enthusiasts, it offers eight handpulls serving a rotating range of changing and regular beers, alongside Westons Old Rosie cider and fruit wines from Lindisfarne Winery. The pub has a busy bar area at the front and a cosy lounge to the rear. It has been a multiple winner of CAMRA's Northumberland Pub of the Year award and has featured in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide. Locals and visitors alike are made welcome.
