Picnic in the Park — Morpeth

About This Event

Morpeth's much-loved Picnic in the Park returns to the riverside setting of Carlisle Park for a free day of family fun. Organised by the Greater Morpeth Development Trust, it's a relaxed community celebration built around a complimentary barbecue, with something to keep every age entertained from late morning through to late afternoon. The programme typically includes children's games and countryside activities, pony rides, dance troupes and steel pan music, a scattering of vendor and craft stalls and live musical entertainment, with Koast Radio on hand to keep things moving. Bring a rug, pack a few extra bites and settle in beside the Wansbeck for one of the highlights of Morpeth's summer.
