Children North East

The first-ever charity shop from Children North East, a charity founded in 1891. Two floors of quality second-hand clothing, homeware, books, toys, and more. Opposite The Black Bull pub.

About Children North East

Children North East opened its first-ever charity shop at 42 Bridge Street, Morpeth, in October 2025, the flagship store for a charity founded in 1891. Set over two floors opposite The Black Bull pub, it sells quality second-hand womenswear, menswear and childrenswear alongside accessories, homeware, decorative items, books, toys, games and small furniture. The shop's aim is to give fashion and lifestyle items a second life, and all profits fund the charity's programmes for babies, children, young people and families across the North East. Donations are welcomed during opening hours via a loading bay, and corporate volunteering opportunities are also offered.
