About Gran Caffe Lollo

Gran Caffe Lollo is a stylish Italian caffe at 38 Bridge Street in the centre of Morpeth, housed in the former Barclays bank building. Opened in May 2024 by the team behind neighbouring Lollo Rosso, the 96-seat caffe is open seven days a week, serving an extensive menu of breakfasts, brunches and lunches. Its in-house pastry team bakes cakes and sweet treats designed to pair with Italian roasted coffee, and the offer also takes in pasticceria, gelateria and deli elements for a taste of Italy. With a spacious, contemporary setting in a landmark town-centre building, it has quickly become a popular daytime spot in Morpeth.
